Megyn Rodriguez (she/her) served in the U.S. Peace Corps, focusing on business and community development in South America. She primarily worked with micro-businesses, fish farmers, and artisans in rural coastal Colombia. Megyn holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Multiethnic Studies and a Master of Public Administration. In 2021, she joined the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) as the Outreach & Marketing Specialist. In addition, she serves as the Public Information Officer, SCORE Mentors Liaison, and Manager of the Birmingham T.H.R.I.V.E. Emerging Leaders Program for the Alabama District Office. Megyn is dedicated to connecting diverse entrepreneurs and small business owners with the resources needed to advance their ideas or businesses. By candidly discussing the common struggles and barriers faced by many entrepreneurs and small businesses, she helps identify accessible solutions for business education, access to capital, government contracting programs, and disaster preparedness. She seeks to reimagine public service and support businesses beyond just the bottom line.
