December Thompson is a dedicated professional with a proven track record of driving impactful
community development initiatives and optimizing operational efficiency within government
agencies and nonprofit organizations. She is recognized for expertise in grant management,
program planning, and strategic partnerships. She is adept at fostering collaborative relationships
with stakeholders, government entities, and local communities to achieve sustainable growth and
positive social impact.

As the Market Manager at TruFund, December leads dynamic product promotions, communications
strategies, and market operations to enhance community engagement and partnerships. By leveraging
experience in resource acquisition and government relations, she strengthens lending operations and
contributes to the expansion of key resources. She consistently fosters trust and collaboration
through strategic state and local government relationships, enriching the organization’s
resource base.

Prior to TruFund, December served as the Grant Service Manager, Planning & Program Operations for
the City of Atlanta. She excelled in driving operational effectiveness by designing and
implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. Her pivotal
role in implementing federally funded programs, including those addressing community
development, affordable housing, disaster recovery, economic development, and homeless/special
needs housing. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she spearheaded critical funding initiatives, ensuring
aid reached vulnerable populations through various grant programs. Earlier in her tenure at City of
Atlanta, December held the role of Senior Management Analyst.

Additionally, December has worked for the Georgia Department of Community Affairs as a Planning and
Policy Development Specialist.

December is a graduate of Clark Atlanta University, where she majored in Marketing.
