Archnique Kidd |
Archnique Kidd is the Supplier Diversity Manager for the City of Mobile, Alabama. She was selected for this position by Mayor Sandy Stimson in 2015. As Supplier Diversity Manager, she is responsible for building the City’s first Supplier Diversity Program, compliance, training, outreach, policy, vendor collaborations, and capacity building.
Archnique came to the City of Mobile from the Mobile Area Water and Sewer System, where she had been the Underutilized Business Coordinator for 19 years. There she was responsible for the development and management Underutilized Business Program.
Archnique is a graduate of the University of Mobile, where she majored in Business Administration. She is also a Graduate of Leadership Mobile Class of 2005, the Federal Bureau of Investigation Citizens Academy, and United Way of South Alabama Project Blueprint. Her community service membership includes Mobile United, the Junior League of Mobile, and the FBI Citizen Academy Alumni Program. Ms. Kidd also serves on the board of directors for the Mobile Symphony Orchestra.
She is a native Mobilian, the mother of a vibrant teenage daughter, an active member of Franklin Street Baptist Church and the Delta Theta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated.
