Dr. Deidra J. Willis is a nationally recognized grant strategist, business consultant, and advocate for education, agriculture, and economic empowerment. With over two decades of experience in public service and nonprofit leadership, Dr. Willis has successfully secured more than $29 million in grant funding for schools, community organizations, and entrepreneurial ventures. Her expertise spans federal, state, and private foundation proposals, with a focus on projects that uplift underserved populations, empower women and single mothers, and drive innovation in education and agribusiness.
A retired educator and founder of DJW Impact Consulting, Dr. Willis is widely sought after for her ability to translate visionary ideas into fully funded initiatives. Her track record of writing winning proposals includes awards from the Department of Health and Human Services, USDA, and numerous philanthropic partners. She has also mentored dozens of organizations and individuals in building sustainable funding strategies, grant readiness, and impact reporting.
